History of Protoclip Festival

The first edition of Protoclip was in 2004, making the association of the three cinema students Ophélie Beaurepaire, Grégoire Saget & Laurianne Martini, a success. In 2007 the original team was joined by Jean-Fabrice Barnault and Henry Notturno, producers of films & Documentary (« Qui a peur de Michel Gondry ? » by Thierry Trelluyer and Jean-Louis Bompoint, « Mocky Circus » by Emmanuel Barnault...), and Pascal Forneri director of the tv series « Do you do you scopitone » on Paris Première, « Mamy Scopitone : l'âge d'or du clip »...).

With the support of the SPPAM (Producers Syndicate for Audiovisual and Musical Programs), led by Georges Hanouna, our partner since 2008, the Protoclip Festival grows each year to reach a wider audience, producers of Music video and institutional recognition.

A pioneer in France in the field of music videos, POTOCLIP- THE INTERNATIONAL MUSIC VIDEO FESTIVAL has two purposes. The first is to promote music video for their essence, as artistic creations, more than the music, song, or artist that it is valuing. The second is to give independent, amateur and professional directors a platform of visibility for artistic recognition.

The team works at making PROTOCLIP an inevitable place for spectators and professionals to meet.
